True, but I take it as lazy programming. If it’s a file then download if it’s a video depending on your browser and any extensions/plugins it would essentially stream it instead of download. But true it’s still sus.

That’s not cool Dipper. I have convictions and want the best for everyone around me, I wouldn’t choose my own interest over others.
In fact dude, I put a strangers needs over my own many times and that’s what makes me happy. I choose people over selfish things almost every time you see me. I can’t believe you would make fun of me like that, I thought we were friends.
I was being sarcastic with the maybes and countering your statement that the meme is entirely web-dev. But hey, it’s just a picture on the internet and I thought it was great we don’t need to go round and round about every aspect of the analogy.
So there is no desktop program that calls to a remote server for information someplace? Maybe like a server database on what games you can join, player movements and speed who is online, maybe even what music you can play? Or maybe a mobile/phone app that does the same? A way to have a standard interface but get new and updated info delivered to you in that specific form? This information would be delivered from one specific place to another, maybe to your table/device.
Front end and back end happen in more environments than you think.
That being said I can get delivery to my terminal/cmd from a ton of places that have nothing to do with each other kind of like getting pizza and tacos delivered.
For anyone about to say API is more like a delivery driver an not a server, realize we are in Programmer_humor, not web_dev.

Living in Gwinnett County Georgia, I wish our libraries had more digital books and audiobooks.
That being said, I am more than happy that more money is put towards being an after school teen spot for high schoolers. It benefit a ton of kids with **** a safe place to chill right across from the high school. Play games, study, watch a show, just in general stay out of trouble. ****

However you need to remember that cheese is a lot more expensive over there than it is here. 90 pounds (sterling) is about one frozen pizzas worth of cheese. And we all know on average Americans eat one frozen pizza a day.
2·1 个月前Why not cut his contracts and reverse the cuts he did. Could be a wash. I know it’s not likely to be a wash but even if not it will still put money back into the economy and more importantly medical research.

2·1 个月前I would argue that a laptop is not a mobile device. It’s mobile but its primary purpose is not handheld.
When we say mobile device almost every definition we think of is “can use and hold while laying on the couch” or sitting at an office waiting.
A laptop, especially one with a decent GPU is not something you can just pull out and play for 3-6 minutes while waiting.
Even if they truly are reconsidering, it won’t matter. The information that leads to a siren will no longer be available.
