Move out to a rural area were our speeds are mind-numbingly slow and you can still experience the phenomenon you describe. Only problem is now a days there isn’t much you can do about it if forced to use Windows.

Honestly, the pay is crap. I looked the other day to see how much it pay the new Icetapo was offering and its starting at GS-5 rates…about $45-65k.
I couldn’t afford my bills and beat up my fellow Americans at those rates.
I second the lifter tick diagnosis.
We have 6 dogs on a ranch with mostly sandy dirt. Only one, the ball chaser, actually wears his nails down. The other 5 get dremeled once a month. Wait too long and it becomes more difficult and painful for the dog as the nails curl back into the paws. Especially dew claws.
If its apple product, they will remove the battery and dispose of it for you at their service desk.
Otherwise try a battery store like Batteries Plus.

Navy dungrees are in fact not comfortable and have back pockets in the front for whatever reason. But you could use them to stay afloat in the water, so thats a plus. Probably not floating long with this guy’s pants judging by the partial repairs.
