That does sound nice, but in writing this from my work from home location right near to the beach. But my second choice would be someplace with a lot of woods and some good star gazing.
I’m 1 hour in. This documentary is really well done

This sounds lovely, but I’m pretty far south. But I’m there in spirit.
moseschruteto PieFed Meta@piefed.social•PieFed needs an instance chooser more than ever - 38 PieFed instances!5·24 hours agoF-Droid takes awhile to accept new apps. I can only speak for the one app I submitted to them, but it took almost a month for my pr to get merged.
After getting merged, updates won’t appear on F-Droid for 3-6 days. That’s because F-Droid has a roughly 3 day build cycle. Depending on where they’re at in their build cycle it’s 3 days best case and 6 days worse case.
This isn’t a knock against F-Droid. Just by their transparent nature builds will lag a little.

I totally missed this post. I’m the developer behind Blorp, thanks for hosting Blorp! Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me with any bugs/feature requests.
I’m the developer behind Blorp. I’d love to help you set it up if you’re interested. Docker instructions on GitHub.

Awesome work on this report! I found all the charts very interesting.
moseschruteto Linux@lemmy.ml•What will MS do when Linux becomes a serious threat to their monopoly ?8·2 days agoI think they’re saying they like Linux as it is and they don’t want it to go mainstream. Like when your favorite band gets popular and suddenly tickets cost 10x as much. So Linux will soon cost 10x its current price of free, and nobody will be able to afford it.
I had a professor in college who used PowerPoint, would go way to fast, and she would stop the class if you took a picture to yell at you for stealing her IP. I learned basically nothing about linear algebra because of her. I would like a refund for that class.

Yeah. I fixed a lot of bugs this past two weeks that haven’t made it into F-Droid yet. As Blorp matures, I would expect this to be less of an issue. But for now, things are a little chaotic.
I try to write automated tests where I can, and I’m trying to make less jr developer type mistakes. But the stakes are lower than my day job, so admittedly I make some riskier decisions.
But I’ve matured a lot this past year. The other day I discovered a bug that I wanted to fix, then I stopped myself. I realized this was such an insignificant bug, and fixing it quickly would be much more likely to create a much bigger bug. Now I’m rambling lol.
Anyway, I would love to better utilize the Android and iOS beta tracks. That would take a few more dedicated testers on those tracks who are willing to submit feedback.
I’m not really sure what’s going on. There’s a 3-6 day delay expected with F-Droid. It looks like F-Droid is receiving updated releases from GitHub. Maybe give it a couple days.
Thank you! Don’t hesitate to reach out to me with any feature requests.
