I love this idea. I gave up on YT Kids because the default allow was too difficult to lock down.
I have struggled to filter with YouTube Kids what is allowed. The setup is default allow with channel denies (opposite of a good firewall), so I have taken to yt-dlp and Jellyfin to get around it. I don’t agree with the law as written, but I get the intent. Parents should be more active in their kids’s lives versus the state.
Totally agree - was a really nifty concept I would have liked to see expounded upon
The real MVP
Exactly. I had the same issue where the power button would not work, and I’d have to press and hold, click, try again, etc. Replacing this and making the contact work again was enough. I did this fix a year ago and have had no issues since.
It saddens me. SuSE 5.3 was a significant part of my technological experiences while living in Germany. They excel in enterprise solutions, but are not typically the preferred Linux distribution for everyday users outside of specific communities.
Geeks going to geek. I love projects like this.
I found the forums to be less active than I remember from the SuSE days. I gave Tumbleweed a try last year and eventually switched back to Arch and Gentoo because most troubleshooting searches default to those distributions, it seems.
I had the same issue and ordered replacement parts from ifixit. Took 10 minutes to replace and works good as new.
You think they would lean in hard to that core constituency…
As a kid I loved the realm of Dinotopia. Something about the art style fascinated me as a youngster
I have used it for years and agree it’s solid.
This is my goto karaoke song. Amazing storytelling and music.
I would check out their forms as there’s been a number of ports to Sony phones.
Well, crap. I saw it this morning and planned on getting it. Guess it’s over
As a BSD user, I am surprised doas didn’t get a fighting chance
