

I have not had much lapsang, but if you like woody flavors then this is a great tea. I may even recommend camphornought over this one. Camphornought feels better balanced to me while hitting similar notes. You can definitely brew this in a metal strainer, I would just recommend doing a rinse of the leaves first. That just means steeping the leaves in hot water for 10 seconds then tossing that water before doing your main brew.
