The football community already exists there but it is empty and the person who created it hasn’t posted in one year. I’m not sure how anyone could go about gaining control of it.

On the other hand, I have a very positive relationship with the admins of that instance. It’s an option to consider I guess.

I don’t believe so, no.

I believe this is the best option. Even though you and @[email protected] have a small disagreement that could easily be ironed out, it shouldn’t prevent all of us from migrating there. I’m one of the Beehaw admins and if our group becomes large enough in the future, then I can create a football community at Beehaw.

As far as I can tell from news sources this is just a verbal agreement for now. However, if all goes well it will be officially announced in the coming weeks. I’m a Manchester City fan and I’m very happy for KDB making this move. Seems to be the fitting choice for him and his family.
