One story I heard was in 2018 they arrested some student activists for labor rights. In order to crack the young people open, police first figured out who are besties with each other, then they told one of them if she confesses her bestie will be released, then played her confession video back to her bestie to make them feel betrayed so they confessed too. This trick broke all the young people in the movement, who once trusted and loved each other so deeply, one after another. Months and years later they were released, but none of them were living normally ever since. Some were never heard again, mad or suicide, no one knows.
