I’m afraid all politicians went to the same school; however, I hope Canada’s Prime Minister is not doing a back-pedal on us. Especially when we were starting to trust someone in Ottawa.
Today, I’m just an opinionated Canadian writer with time on my hands. The world is a different place today, including the Donald Trump saga that ‘keeps on giving.’ That alone gives me lots to write and comment on. Check out more of my stories at … flippen.ca

As I commented about hands-on trades, I forgot to mention that if you live in Ontario, the Department of Transportation is looking for " road inspectors" (DOT). Their duties are to inspect unsafe vehicles on our highways. Now the ad was up only for a short time; however, ‘beat down their door and at least find out.’

Many years have gone by since I was in school, but even then, they wanted to and did do away with hands-on trades. My problem is, not everyone can be a stockbroker or a doctor. Today, many trades that are still functioning and will forever be, are still working. Hands-on. Would AI replace a plumber? na…I don’t think? However, I do feel sorry for those who are unemployed.

I am sad that our Prime Minister endorsed this illegal act by the US and Israel. What would happen when and if Canada decides to manufacture its own nukes for protection? International Law must be only a guideline that you can cross whenever the mood strikes you.

I have to wonder, last time I checked Canada is a sovereign country, why can trump dictate who we can help and who we can not. My opinion: we should help the Cuban People as much as we can and give the Trumpsters the middle finger salute.

International law is just a guideline,

Web Hosting Canada has a good reputation; that’s who I’m with. https://flippen.ca/
I believe behind the scenes, it’s got the smell of Trump.

This does not surprise me at all because of this parallel. When researching Canada’s Avro Arrow, many articles came up mentioning how the US would wine and dine Canada’s military elites to convince them, and in turn convince the Prime Minister at the time to dump the Arrow. We all know what happened then. Political interference at its finest. We also know the reason was, hook, line and sinker, Canada’s dependency on the US for military equipment, and not mentioning one US Senator commented, We don’t need the compensation, “especially from Canada.” Alberta’s separatist movement had better think wisely.

As a young (white) person with a new driver’s license, I was pulled over all the time, and the cops always found a problem (according to them) So, I do not agree with profiling of any kind, especially racial profiling. But if you (cop) spot a car with lights out at night, tires that have no tread, "do your job and pull those people over for driving an unsafe vehicle on our highways.’ Who knows, you might find some real bad actors in the process. Police do not need more powers; just do the job you swore an oath to do. Catch real bad guys.

WAG THE DOG<<< all star cast that explains how the US government works.

Wag the Dog <<<< all-star cast

Yeah your right…I never finished the sentence… >>>“Wag the Dog” <<<< Sorry about that. I did however, correct it in the comment.

Throughout Trump’s Presidency, all he does is threaten and demean everyone to keep the world off balance, and he is quite good at it, however, I would not play his silly game or read any more of his media. There was an excellent older movie out that explains how the US government works. It is a must-see movie for all people caught up in his bullshit and the ones before him. >>>>> It’s called (Wag the Dog) all-star cast. <<<<

Suspicious old me, I have to wonder, did Prime Minister Mark Carney know a head of time that if he sent any Military personnel to Greenland, Trump would impose another 25 percent tariff on Canada, like Trump is threatened to do with the four other countries that did? Canada did not send any soldiers to Greenland as a sign of solidarity, as I thought he would have. I wonder why?
The monarchy has never commented or defended Canada in any way during Trump’s first or second term. I would not hold my breath waiting for the Brits to help us.

So that’s why the groceries were so expensive today.

That I’m sorry to hear, however, your fearless leader picked a fight with the wrong country. I say your, because up here in Canada we don’t say Donald Trump and the other word in the same sentence.
I always loved visiting the US, especially when we could cross the border freely. And then came the passports, which started a slight decline and a little more of a hassle, and then came Trump, who has a hate-on for Canada. That change pushed the friendship over the edge. Why would a Canadian deliberately put themselves through the humiliation, the fingerprinting and now the DNA test to cross that border?
