I had an outright argument with one of my own coworkers about this very subject less than six months ago. Even with all of the insane bullshit going on outside today people still just refuse to look up and read any sort of information for themselves.

  • Currently playing FFVI myself. It’s a treat.

Bit easier than other Final Fantasy games, I’m finding… at least in the early game, Edgar and Sabin are ass-blasting everything in the game with very little resistance, those boys probably don’t even need the rest of the Returners squad. I know that will probably change later but the duo are definitely the MVPs of act 1.

I’m also of mixed opinion about the ability to teach every party remember every spell in the game. It’s obviously not the best idea, that I can’t stop myself from doing. Does Edgar or Gau need to know how to cast Bio or Slow or Rasp? No, not at all, and they’re probably better served leveling up with magicite that gives them useful stats. Will they learn those spells? You betcha.

  • It’s not actually that over the top, Tesla beats the Ford Pinto in percentage of fire-based deaths, a car most well known for catching fire.

control and/or cut it’s data connection to Tesla

To my knowledge you can’t, at least without a level of rewriting the car’s code that you’ll effectively be writing the whole car from scratch. Just buy a different brand, literally any other brand of electric car.

Since it’s used, I’m not giving Musk any money,

The moment you need any replacement parts you’re giving Musk money. Tesla does not provide repair parts to repair shops. I work at a repair shop, ask me how I know. If you call them and request a part they will tell you to bring the car to them and then hang up on you, so, hope your car never needs maintenance because it isn’t getting any outside of a Tesla shop.

Even if we could get parts we still refuse service on Teslas at my shop because they’re such a liability risk.

  • Because they’re still literally not doing their jobs.

As an example, let’s say I flip burgers for a living. You come in to my restaurant and order a cheeseburger. I then proceed to slap a hunk of raw ground beef and a slice of cheese down right on the counter in front of you. That’ll be $8.50, pay up.

You aren’t going to say “that’s progress!” you’re going to say “that’s not a fucking cheeseburger”.

Same here. Yeah, it is progress forward from the literal nothing that they were doing before. It still is not satisfactory progress that satisfies the basic job requirements of their chosen career.
