I have them, they’re great headphones. Are your earbuds noise cancelling? That’s the main benefit of using the XM4’s. They have great sound too.
Can you try them on in store?

Just sent my biggest client proposal yet (in terms of the $$ it will bring in). I think I’ve reeled this client in to using me but I can never be sure. I’m always worried about being too expensive too but also need to charge my worth and what is fair, I ain’t out here to be the cheapest provider. Fingers crossed they go ahead. This will be a big moment for me if I get this work.
Great idea, a day for you whenever you can manage it is so important. Perfect weather for it too. Enjoy!
My lower back is still no bueno. Impossible to sit in my office chair and not get pain, did as much as I could but I’m in bed now. Physio helped a bit but it’s not a miracle cure. I waddled around the block for a bit to keep my back moving, waddling is all I can muster right now. I got a few puzzled looks from my slow strange movement haha. Pleeease be better by tomorrow.
What?! That’s terrible, hopefully you find a new role quickly.
Did my lower back yesterday, nothing more humbling than when your back goes out in a bad way. Getting out of bed this morning was not fun at all. I can barely move around.
Not going to be able to do any of the things I planned today, just resting up until I can see a physio tomorrow.
Yeah it was offline for me earlier
I’m the type to help keep the door open if someone is not too far behind me, walking the same direction. You know, politeness and all. Just witnessed someone at the gym look back, see me walking towards them, open the door the slightest amount possible (push open and it automatically shuts) and then it slammed right in my face. Thats humanity for you.
They’re in the service industry as well, they know exactly what they’re doing. Makes it worse! And they’re getting very good value from me to begin with, squeezing that scope for all its worth. Prices are going to go up I think.
This client keeps trying to slide more work into any proposal I give, it’s really frustrating. I say it costs $X to do Y, they agree to the cost but then say oh we want to include Z too. No, the price is for Y only. I hate having to put my foot down and say no sorry, it will cost more to include Z, but I have to be firm or I’ll get walked all over. Then they do it again.
The new smoking while walking on the street is vaping while walking. Just as disgusting and vape clouds linger for longer, so you’re more likely to breathe in the second hand smoke. I made disgusted sounds and quickly walked past.
Just finished up a 7am client call (involved someone in the US so it had to be an early one) which I was a little anxious about. Also too early for my brain to be fully operational but I think it went well.
Throat really sore this morning. I swear if I’ve picked up another illness, it’s only been a few weeks since the last one! Praying it just goes away.
I struggle to do it all. Especially living alone with cooking and housework - if I don’t do it, it doesn’t get done. Feels like I’m on the go every day and often just treading water. Prioritising is the only tactic I have to manage.
Back from my run, so many people out and about enjoying the sun. Trees are starting to blossom. I’m enjoying this false spring very much.
Also in my area, after a certain point on the walking track it’s mandatory to say hello or nod / acknowledge passers by.
That friend group that only invites me sometimes to their get-togethers has yet again not invited me, this time to someone’s birthday dinner in the group. I think I’m in again and then I’m on the out. Maybe they don’t like me, I don’t know. I give up caring.
Me to client: This thing might happen if we go ahead like this
Client: OK, I understand
the thing happens
Me: The thing has happened
Client: You didn’t tell me this might happen!
The satisfaction of forwarding the email proving I am right. Some people have very, very selective memory.
Short term pain, long term gain. It’ll be worth it!
Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear.
