Having a hundred thousand protesters suddenly show up and block the parade would be incredible. Trump would either be forced to stop his birthday parade and look weak or try to retaliate against peaceful protestors on a widely televised event.

Day 1: create 264 gallons of water (probably enough for a month)
Day 2: create a cubic meter of food (also probably enough for a month)
Day 3 to next rationing: spend thinking of all the awesome things I could create but end up getting overwhelmed and doing nothing instead
We wanted chickens so badly this year but with H5N1 spreading and owning 3 cats (which seem to have a high death rate from H5N1) I’m still not sure if it’s a great idea. If anyone can convince me though I would still happily get chickens.

Wife got me the tuxedo cat set. We have an all black cat and I’m really considering ordering the white pieces in black if it doesn’t cost too much.
Do they have to have poop in them or does it spawn some inside them? That’s necessary information.
Assuming I don’t immediately die (honestly would hope I did in that situation) I am very stubborn and would probably persist.
I have been into programming and electronics for almost my whole life (assuming I had any way to power them), love cooking, ferment and can foods all the time and have a good sized garden and a big grow tent with mushrooms in it. I also have several fish tanks with plants so I’m sure I could rig up some aquaponics system. And my wife is a nurse so I’m always learning a lot from her. Even built a backyard mini forge and kiln once because I was bored.
Just don’t make me kill any animals and I think I’ll be ok (unless the animals were injured and needed to be put down or in self defense). If someone else did all the hunting I’d happily do the butchering, though.
I think they meant the immortality where you can live as long as you want to, not the kind where you can’t die. I don’t think anyone wants that…

News•Firefly species may blink out as US seeks to list it as endangered for first time
6·1 年前Did they have a fountain or pond in the courtyard? We have an above ground pool and are one of the few neighbors with fireflies in our yard. We also have a lot of native flowers though so maybe that helps
The top of the dirt looks dry but they have better soil underneath that retains moisture better (I even check an inch down occasionally and it is still wet). Our dirt does not drain very well and acts almost like a barrier underneath so the roots stay wet for several days.

Are the ads injected in real-time or at the start of the video?
I assume it uses extra processing power to add them randomly for each user individually so if it was the latter would rapidly refreshing the page over and over again force them to completely rerun the process over again and slow their servers down? I guess I’m not entirely sure how this would work.

News•Gen Z and millennial productivity is being crushed by bosses who don’t understand them, top university research says
2·2 年前I think (most) millenials and gen z are in pretty good agreement with what policies we want for the future, though. So I’m not that worried.
What country? “Many countries” have little to no workers’ (or human) rights, that doesnt make them a good metric for deciding what’s ok.
I was tossing so much produce before that I ended up choosing a dedicated container that I toss any veggies that are starting to expire or I know I will be too lazy to use and keep it in our freezer.
Once it fills up I make a big batch of vegetable stock and reduce what I won’t use that day to a thick paste with a lot of salt and the vegetable waste goes into the compost. Makes me feel way better about it and is pretty ADHD friendly (toss and forget then process it all at once).
You need a car to get to work. How are you supposed to not buy oil? The point is the fossil fuel industry gave us no real alternative, you don’t have to eat at a restaurant to survive but you need a job to.

Considering they failed at that too not much.
