I prefer hentai/rule34 but real porn can be fine too. I know that not all porn industries are bad but I do know that there are, or at least were, some really bad ones. Also, I’m mostly into tentacle hentai and live action tentacle hentai is usually absolutely terrible.

I don’t read books that often, so I don’t know if she’s necessarily the best but I’d have to say Cornelia Funke. Inkheart, while I have yet to actually finish it, is the only normal book that I remember actually liking. It’s currently the only book I own a copy of that isn’t a manga.
If save scumming counts as cheating, then yes. But otherwise, I’ve only ever used cheats in single player games and I really only use cheats if either the game sucks or the cheats I used didn’t effect gameplay. Some of the times I remember using cheats are:
Using the “fixme” command in Morrowind because I got stuck somewhere.
Using various cheats in the GTA games, after I had already beaten the main story, just so I can cause some mayhem.
Using the “giveall” command in Doom because I installed a weapon mod that required it.
Using the free cam that built into some emulators.
I used to use save states in old video games that didn’t have saving systems but I don’t do this anymore. I just only play them until I get to a point I can’t progress.
I think I remember using a cheat code to access unused content in at least one game, but I can’t remember what game that was.
While I haven’t played it yet, there is a PS2 (I think) game that requires using a cheat code to enable widescreen (or was it 720i, or maybe there was more than one game that did this, I can’t actually remember now).
I would say that I do care about music quite a bit.
I’m currently using more expensive earbuds from Truthear because my sister’s ex boyfriend bought me a pair last year for Christmas and they sound great but I normally go with brands like Sentry that offer decent sound for the price.
For the second question, I kind of unintentionally do both. Right now, I’m listening to music from Eternal Nocturne by Dobu Usagi (AKA dBu) and I’ll be listening to some of their other albums until YouTube recommends me music from other Touhou artists like 暁Records, Sound Holic or A-One. YouTube seems to recommend music to me that’s related to what I’m currently listening to, so it makes sense that I’m currently getting recommend videos from Eternal Nocturne with a few from other albums like Necromanza and Scarlet Rapsodia or the other artists I mentioned. When I’m away from home, I use my android devices to listen to music during the car ride, where I just have a bunch of random music I’ve downloaded over the years and I mostly use MPV to listen to them but I do have VLC on one device because MPV doesn’t work properly on that device for some reason.
For the most part, the only time I listen to music by itself is just when I’m in the riding in a car.
Maybe sometimes. I do like to talk about some of the music I listen to. I wont go into specifics because that’s not the topic for this post but for example, with dBu, their music sounds like a mix of music from Mega Man and Castlevania because it has that gothic/orchestral rock/metal with some techno sound to it. I also like 暁Records, Sound Holic and A-One because of the variety of music they make. I just really like Touhou music, if you couldn’t tell.
I do sometimes look for music but I temporarily had to stop because my external hard drive got full. I asked for a new one in my Christmas list so I hope I get it.
I’ve never really thought about that last question before but I guess both.
Well, my username is just what I came up with when trying to think of a cool sounding name. I don’t remember what I originally used it for but I do know that I’ve been using it for several years at this point. It is one of my two most active names and I use it in a wide variety of places but I do know that I have seen people using my name, so if you see my name being used somewhere, it’s possible that It’s not me.
As for my profile picture, I’ve been using a picture of Zack Fair from Crisis Core as my main profile picture ever since I first played the game back in high School. He was one of the first characters who I really felt attached to. Prior to this, I was using Castlevania characters. Ever since Crisis Core got a remake, I’ve been thinking of going back to using Castlevania characters again but it just doesn’t feel right to me anymore.
I do also want to mention that I do also use a picture of Clippy as my profile picture on some platforms. I’ve been doing this ever since I saw that one Louis Rossmann video and I use it on platforms that I don’t support.
No, assuming I found the game you’re referring to, I’ve never owned a Wii U and while my mom owns a switch, I don’t use it. I also don’t think I’d be able to emulate it either. It seems interesting but I wont be able to play it right now.
Yeah, I’ve downloaded games through Steam before. I actually had to switch over to the Itchio desktop app because downloads through their desktop app are more stable than their website. And yes, I know that I should probably just use their app to download games but I just hate using app stores on PC, it’s the same reason Steam isn’t my preferred source for games.
I could do that but I might have to wait until we switch ISPs. My current internet speed is terrible and the ISPs that we’re looking into have significantly better speeds. For context, I’m currently trying to download a game from Itchio that’s only 700 MB and, on top of the fact that it keeps failing, it needs over half an hour to download for me.
That is actually part of what I meant by having permanent access to the ability. One of the games I didn’t mention in my comment does it like that, where you get the abilities by mastering equipment but then you have to use AP to actually activate it like how abilities were in Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2. I’ve actually been interested in playing Clair Obscure because I’ve heard that it’s one of the best RPGs to exist. The only problem is that, because it’s a modern game, I don’t know it it’ll run on my computer and I don’t have another way to play it.
A mechanic to permanently gain new attacks and/or abilities by mastering equipment. I haven’t seen that many games have this mechanic and it’s mostly been adult games for some reason. I think Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep is the only non-adult game I’ve seen to have this mechanic.
I just remembered another one. The Gambits system from Final Fantasy 12. I’ve always liked this mechanic because it almost completely automates battles, allowing you to focus more on exploration and treasure hunting. I have only seen two games do this and, once again, FF12 is the only non-adult game I’ve seen with this type of mechanic.

Ask Lemmy•None of this "what are you thankful for" shit today. What's something you hate?
18·18 天前AT&T. We recently had an issue where our internet stopped working properly. My mom had to call them four times before they actually fixed our internet. The first time, she was put on hold for about 40 minutes before either the call ended itself or they hung up. The second time, she actually got through to someone but they didn’t fix our internet and instead told us that our current internet package would soon be phased out and then spent about half an hour basically forcing her to getting something called “AT&T Air”.
The third time she called, my mom told them that she didn’t want AT&T Air and that if she can’t use the package we have now, then we’ll be switching ISPs. The woman on the phone said that she’ll cancel the new package and put her on hold for about half an hour but she never did actually cancel the package or fix our internet, and she also never returned so my mom just hung up on her. The fourth time she called, the guy on the phone ran a diagnosis on our internet and finally fixed it within a few minutes. We have no idea why it took so long for them to do this but we’re glad to finally have working internet.
But even though we do now have working internet, we are still thinking about switching ISPs. Even though they did send the equipment to use AT&T Air, we are not going to use it and we are going to send it back and try to get them to actually cancel the package. We aren’t sure exactly when we are going to switch ISPs but my mom stated she wants to wait until after the holidays to do so, which probably means no sooner than January.
I’ve been playing the android version of Bit Heroes. It’s terrible for multiple reasons but I’ve been playing it because the game can be played semi-passively, meaning that I can multitask while playing it. In fact, I’m actually playing it right now while I’m typing this comment.

No Stupid Questions•When you wake up, how long does it take for your brain's "OS" to "resume from hibernation/sleep-mode"?
3·28 天前For me, it’s usually instantly. While I’m usually groggy for at least half an hour, for as long as I can remember, I’ve always been able to wake up and immediately start my daily tasks, play video games or have conversations with people. I’ll even sometimes remember that there’s something I need to do, like my laundry or that I forgot to take out the trash the night before.

Ask Lemmy•What would you do if you found out someone was drawing hentai of you with very exaggerated features?
3·1 个月前I think I’d be both disturbed and flattered at the same time. I’d be surprised if anyone I know actually remembers me and still thinks about me enough that they’d want to draw pictures of me in any capacity.

Ask Lemmy•What would be interesting to bring to a home made pizza party?
2·1 个月前I haven’t made one myself before but I know that I like BLT pizzas. It’s basically mayonnaise instead of pizza sauce, and it’s topped with bacon, lettuce, tomato and whatever cheese(s) you want.

Technology•Study Boldly Claims 4K And 8K TVs Aren't Much Better Than HD To Your Eyes, But Is It True?English
84·2 个月前This is why I still use 768p as my preferred resolution, despite having displays that can go much higher. I hate that all TVs now are trying to go as big as possible, when it’s just artificially inflating the price for no real benefit. I also hate that modern displays aren’t as dynamic as what CRTs were. CRTs can handle pretty much any resolution you throw at them but modern TVs and monitors freak out if you don’t use an exact resolution, causing them to either have input lag because the display has to upscale the image or a potential performance hit if the display forces the connected device to handle the upscaling.
This probably isn’t out of the ordinary, but I’m not against playing video games that were made for children even though I’m going to turn 30 at the end of the year. I don’t always play them but if I try one and it turns out to be good, then I’ll play it.
I’m also not against watching shows or movies meant for children either but it’s pretty rare that I do.

Technology•On January 1st of 2026, Texas will be required to give ID to download apps from the app stores. It doesn't matter if it's NSFW or not.English
13·2 个月前I would say that I’m glad that I don’t live in Texas but the state I live in has also been slowly following this Nazi rhetoric as well, so it’s only a matter of time before we’re effected as well.
Well, it’ll probably involve tentacles, I can tell you that much.

I’m not sure about everyone but I do know that I have thought about this before. While I have no plans on ever becoming trans, I have thought about using the name Vivian or just Vivi. It’s not related to my real name but I for some reason just kind gravitated towards it.
I think I remember first using it as my character’s name in some scenarios in AI Dungeon, and I still use it when I need a name for a female character.
