441·10 months agoThe US national anthem. People will stand around before sporting events knowing that they used to do something but are mystified they can’t remember what.
9·11 months agoWe as a society gives your protections through copyright, why can we not let that protection come with some requirements?
The problem is that we can put words together to form new words. So say I produced a yogurt at a lake(sø) , I could call it søyougurt. It’s not a word that would be in a dictionary though, but lots of that kind of words aren’t.
The Danish football association has also stated that they will not participate in a competition where Russia participates.

And if you like to compete with yourself, dish golfing. It’s cheap(at least it can be), and it’s basically competitive hiking :)
I have blocked most of the meme communities and all seems just fine to me now.

The issue with that logic, voting with your money, which I once used as well, is that richer people get more of a vote than poor people. And as a bunch of the issues with global warming didn’t really hit rich people, we shouldn’t depend on them to fix it.
7·2 years agoThe problem is that the people that have done it for years has a bunch of experience a new team doesn’t have. It will most likely take years for the subreddit to run as well as it has been.

Over time they will probably merge, either explicitly or simple because one of them gains more traction than the others.
There is no way to impose tariffs on Danish goods. We’re part of the EU, and the inner market, so we’ll just send the goods from some other EU country. So any tariff on Denmark would have to be a tariff on EU.
