Yeah, a lot of really efficient configurations evolved through natural selection, so it makes sense to study how nature works for inspiration.

This has nothing at all to do with AI, we’re already living in a world filled with misinformation. AI doesn’t fundamentally change anything. The reality is that people come up with narratives they want to believe in, and then seek out information that fits in with those narratives.

I think this also illustrates why you don’t want to have a financialized economy like in the west. If the economy is based around industry then that industry is going to stay in the country even if the rich leave. Then it can be nationalized, turned into cooperatives, or whatever.
