Yeah, a lot of really efficient configurations evolved through natural selection, so it makes sense to study how nature works for inspiration.

104·2 年前This has nothing at all to do with AI, we’re already living in a world filled with misinformation. AI doesn’t fundamentally change anything. The reality is that people come up with narratives they want to believe in, and then seek out information that fits in with those narratives.

43·2 年前lol I guess they had higher expectations for the offensive originally

I imagine advances in communication and transportation technologies play a factor as well, we see things develop at a much faster rate today than they have in the past.

33·2 年前Yeah, US is far behind Russia and China in this tech right now, which makes it all the more bewildering that it continues to escalate towards a conflict with adversaries that now have nuclear first strike capability on US.

China, 中国@lemmy.ml•China, with the world’s second-largest economy and the second-highest population, will again see the biggest exodus of millionaires this year, according to new research. 🎉English
1·2 年前I think this also illustrates why you don’t want to have a financialized economy like in the west. If the economy is based around industry then that industry is going to stay in the country even if the rich leave. Then it can be nationalized, turned into cooperatives, or whatever.

911·2 年前Yeah the fact that SA doesn’t agree with the west politically totally justifies holding their delegation hostage. Thank you for your insightful comment.
edit: presumably downvoters think it’s normal behavior for countries to do this sort of thing, if this is the way the west is going to keep acting on the world stage then life is going to get very hard for westerners

Pretty obvious that western media has a lot of great reasons to misrepresent the truth to keep people such as yourself thinking that disastrous policies western governments are pursuing are actually working.
