    Sometimes you can at least get some understanding through context clues. I’ve laughed at some of the German memes they share.

      I feel like the German memes are the easiest to understand of the memes in languages I don’t speak.

      I am surprised at how much of the french posts I understand through cognates and my entry level spanitalian knowledge.

    There’s also like, 20 other countries here, and the Dutch will just speak English

      I recently switched from Duolingo to LingoDeer. It’s much more structured, and I’d certainly recommend it if you’re willing to spend money on a learning app
