I pay for the whole health bar, so I’m going to use the whole health bar.

Any hit points beyond the last one are just gravy anyway

FFXIV mentality. Are you dead? No. Can you take one more hit? Probably. Healer’s doing fiiine

Had this attitude with my old Troll Warrior back in WoW. HP is just a resource like anything else. My friends just couldn’t understand it.

One of my fav moments in tanking is when you just watch your HP constantly yo-yoing. Like, some people decided to relax by gaming that night, and they’re just staring at my health bar smashing heals without blinking for the next 10 mins.

I’ve tried being a healer once. It was fun until end-game raiding. It was then just a tense job where everyone around me was fucking stupid. Not for me lol. But I do know well now to listen to everything the healers say and ignore the raid leader.

Tanking is life. Gimme a sword and board and i’m golden.

I’d much rather throw my character into the melee and die a few times than stand back with sparkly fingers and robes being all safe and shit.

This is like tanking in WoW WotLK era. The bosses hit like 1/3rd of health everytime. So we usually have one dedicated healer for tank.

Healing all the non tanks in a 40 person vanilla wow raid was fun, with a good group of course. Enter a trance like state with 40 health bars covering your screen, color coded by class. Dropping heal over time on anyone taking damage, or an out of mana warlock.
