Yeah, and these people are mentally challenged and actively looking for guidance whether they admit it or not. A “friend” of mine got swindled by American propaganda and put some shamefully large amount of money on one of the Trump coins and was fully supportive of him and we lived in Marseille, France! After one or two talks where I mostly just rolled my eyes when he was working hard at rationalizing his idol’s behaviour and background with the propaganda (and after losing money, lol, but it’s a small price to pay not to be corrupted), he actually said something close to “maybe Trump is just like the rest, he just fooled me well” and we ended our Trump talks with a friendly hand on his shoulder and me saying “maybe, maybe, you know what I think about this whole thing”. And this person believes in a “flat but with a sky dome” Earth too, and I really never disliked listening to him talk about all that shit, but in my house we don’t tolerate immoral stupidity/confusion!

Sometimes, I really wish universal voting is not a thing. But it’s hard to think of a filtering metric that is not abusable to attain selfish benefits.

Maybe the lowest hanging fruit, is that on the voting ballot, they don’t list the person’s party, just the name.

I really don’t want to know how many people vote on “vibes”.
