    Both have a lot of stuff named after them, no? At least in the cities I’ve been to, there’s always something named after at least one of them, if not a park then a street or a monument.

      Much of Poland had been stolen by imperialist powers, but the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth still existed at this time, albeit in a weakened state. It would receive its final deathblow in the 1790s.

    Fun fact; there is a discussion whether or not Kościuszko might have been a woman or an intersex person. Havent looked into it, but wouldent be a first in history…
