I’m not looking forward to putting up Xmas lights at my new house. Not because of concerns about falling off the roof or from the 20 foot ladder. I’m not looking forward to how crazy-sore my legs and back will be from reaching on the ladder

My parents are too old and not functional enough to help, the Gramps is 95, one cousin would only show up after pounding a 6-pack and would keep drinking the whole time and get mopey, and the other cousin said he’d help but is such a die-hard OSU/Lions fan that kinda wipes out Saturday and Sunday.
I want to put permanent ones on our house. Do it once and that’s it.

I started jump rope for daily cardio a few days ago. I am essentially starting from less than zero.
Things are not going well in the calf and tibialis area. I’m sure it’ll be good for me in the long run, but whoa are stretches not cutting it. I think I could play through the fire and flames on my Achilles tendon some mornings.
They say “jump”, Blazin’ Bev says “how high”.
Bodies suck. If it turned out reality is some kind of mass simulation, and I was actually just a brain in a jar somewhere, I would be so happy.
If some crazy powerful computer could simulate anything imaginable but still ended up generating my particular rickety middle-aged carcass, that’s more depressing than anything.
