A report from South Carolina newspaper The Post and Courier released on Sunday has now corroborated key personal details given by the woman about a third man she claims also sexually assaulted her—named Jimmy Atkins. Those details are not directly related to her accusations against Trump, but suggest that she was truthful about other matters she raised with the FBI.
She said the abuse happened as many as 20 times, with Epstein inviting other men to participate in the criminal activity at least once. Her life would later descend into crime and drug use, before she filed a lawsuit as a Jane Doe and reached a settlement with Epstein’s estate.
That headline is deceiving. They know for sure don’t guy named Atkins did it but we didn’t know if Trump and Epstein did. She might be lying about those 2… Fucking so tired of this bullshit country.
What about the headline isn’t true? Literally every word of it is backed up.
Make it sound like her story about Trump was corroborated but it was another guy. Yes it lends credibility to her claim, but not about Trump himself.
The headline is misleading, but if she made it up, then why did the Epstein estate settle with her?
No argument there. This helps, but doesn’t implicate Trump any further than it has already.
Definitely no argument with that. The article does bury right at the end one interesting detail that explains why it doesn’t help further:
The Post and Courier also reported that around 30 pages of documents listed in an internal DOJ trial evidence inventory still remain missing.
I think the victims’ evidence doesn’t need further corroboration though. They’ve been put on trial more than enough. I want to see investigation of the claims of the accused and their networks.
