Found a new cafe today and they’re using a bunch of old programming language books in their display

    I’ve used mine to prop up monitors but lately they just sit on my shelf. Books that serve no purpose end up in the garbage simply because I don’t have room for them.

    I have mine working as ballast in the bottom of a bookshelf to keep it from vibrating too hard when the 3D printer on top of it is running

    I always wondered where my programming books came from. I’ve got probably 20 or so but don’t remember ever buying them. Can’t say that I’ve read them as I typically just use an e reader. They seem to just appear throughout my history as ways to shame me about not fully reading the docs. Like rabbits, always reproducing but sitting on shelves staring at me and silently judging, taunting.
