Excellent comparison! I just fear that the GOP will always be more unscrupulous than the Dems, and so will ultimately always be OK with gerrymandering (or deep fakes, or what have you).
We’ve been warning about this for years. Now it’s too late, especially because the people in power have a vested interest in NOT policing deepfakes.

I loved this game! It was trivially easy, but the artwork was beautiful. The ecology subgame was a neat mechanic too.
A decade ago I used to go through 3 books a week. Now I might read 3 a year. The world’s gone to such shit that fiction almost feels too quaint to be enjoyable. I know that’s not logical, but it’s how it feels…and it’s awful.
