Unfortunately that doesn’t easily answer the question. Most of the active users down there are from mastodon.
1·1 day agoCompared to a real camera plus a cell phone? Not even close. And the lenses are behind scratch resistant glass.
Because this is one device that fits easily in a pocket or purse. Most people want to have a nice camera on hand without having to lug around another big device.
This is great advice. And yeah $16k sounds a lot like “I don’t want to open this can of worms.”
2·1 day agoI suggest consulting a local attorney. Laws concerning these things vary greatly. From my limited knowledge though that will probably end in some money wasted and an attorney telling you you’re SOL. But that will be small vs what you’re facing.
Also, normal home inspectors are not looking for this kind of stuff. The kinds of inspections mandated by law for sales don’t go nearly deep enough. And whatever was signed when they were hired no doubt covers their asses for this stuff. You’d have to pay someone a lot more to do a more thorough inspection.
Even if you’d hired a contractor yourself and this happened, after 9+ years in most US States you’re past the statute of limitations.
And you’re right, this is not what homeowners insurance is for.

Disagreeing with you is not trolling. You could have walked away from your argument any time. And while the other person crossed the line, your tone was rude and dismissive first.
If you’re going to be so liberal with the reporting tool you need to use an app that lets put a descriptive reason. Make whatever excuses you want, but you were so haphazard you reported your own comment. I always read the entire thread for context so one report is enough unless there’s a new rule broken in another comment.
Let me ask you a question. Do you think I’m more annoyed at @[email protected] for bickering with you, or that you submitted a report for every single one of their comments that just says “breaks community rules” and does not say what rule it broke? You spammed it so much you even reported your own comment.
Next time you two better act like adults or I’m just banning both of you. One for abusing the reporting system and the other for incivility. I have you both tagged with “shitlist” in my app.

9·6 days agoI think this episode is where I really started to connect with what they were doing with this show. I’m a DS9 fan and this was definitely DS9 fan service, but it was also relevant to the character and aided in her development.

I’m trying to be consistent in my execution of the rules and this one gets dropped by posters a lot.
Edit: locking until you correct and message me it’s done. This is how I’m going to handle these innocent rules violations going forward. If it’s malicious it gets removed, if it’s a mistake I’ll lock it and people can let me know when it’s been corrected.
