If your microwave has the option, set it to power level 6 (or 60%) and up the time by 1.5-2x. No more blisteringly hot plates with ice puck food on top!

Two minutes if you don’t know what you’re doing - you’ll be hot on the outside but still cold within.

Gotta take your time, reduce your power, give that warmth time to propagate within.

Unless it’s bacon, where I think 2 minutes might be enough to turn it into pure plasma with how much it’s popping and exploding by 10 seconds.

I love being able to both skip the preheat time and reduce the cooking time by 25% on top of it in my convection toaster oven/air fryer.

Just sucks that they gave it a shit UI that makes me miss the analog controls of my previous toaster oven.

My new oven is so energy efficient it takes 20 mins to warm up before cooking a pizza for ten minutes.

Also, oven: frozen pizza right on the grate.

Microwave: you put that shit on a plate and a paper napkin on top of it, don’t want all the other food inside the microwave touching your food
