      While interesting as an important piece of early movie history, the movie itself isn’t really anything great. The visuals are interesting, but the story is really badly structured and told.

        Eh, I enjoyed it.

        I also enjoyed the bizarre version that came out in the 80s.

        I bet it is. There’s a certain charm to older stuff though, IMO. I bet I won’t come out empty-handed in the end. 😁

    I’m surprised a 1927 handheld fan is so compact and modern looking. I wonder if it was cutting edge.

      It was must pre-enshitification, I think, they later used plastic to make them look bigger to sell them with larger margins.

      A lot of products got needlessly bigger bcs customers thought they were being “more”.
