    The good old days when you actually dialled a phone with a dial.

    Zero is last because it creates ten pulses. If it created zero, it wouldn’t be that useful 🙂.

    My number growing up was a PR5 (PRimrose 5) or 775. Using the letters for the first two numbers was pretty much standard in those days.

    I’m so old that I remember.

    Our number was BElmont 3-6316

    or 233-6316
