This video pops up every once in a while…I’m pretty sure it was claimed to be fake, but as I remember there wasn’t much detail other than the video itself.

I can’t speak for this one, but I have seen it before.

What leads me to believe it might be faked is if the cashier knew and was calling the police (as stated in the video), they can and should have hit the emergency stop for that pump; same thing they have to do if there’s a fuel leak from one of them.

Notice how you don’t actually see any fuel coming out of the nozzle? And how the “fuel” is crystal clear, even though nearly all commercial gasoline sold has dyes to indicate it’s octane?

That and the fact that he would have been there for 30 minutes or more, having to re-up the pump every 50 gallons or so. A lot of them cut you off at a certain point. There’s roughly 500 gallons in a pickup truck bed.

Oh, yeah, that’s true. I think it cuts you off somewhere below the pre-auth amount (whatever that dollar amount translates to in gallons). Didn’t even think of that, but yeah.

I hope so, but I’ve also seen videos of people filling up plastic bags with fuel 😂

The start looks very very scripted. Too well filmed over all.
