Honestly, I think Cats is worth the watch. I was never bored; it was an absolute rollercoaster of terrible filmmaking decisions. It was never boring. Morbius, by comparison, wasn’t even that much fun as a trainwreck watch.

Not OP, but I just realized that I watched Morbius at some point and remember almost nothing about it, including what compelled me to watch it in the first place.

I swear I haven’t watched Morbius, but I have a sneaking suspicion that I have actually watched it and have completely blocked all memory of it as a traumatic event.

I watched Morbius because I was waiting for the main character to say, “It’s Morbin’ time!” I was sorely disappointed.

My favorite fun fact about Cats is that after watching it, Andrew Lloyd Webber, writer of Cats, decided to adopt a dog.

Cats received negative reviews by critics, many of whom named it one of the worst films of all time. It grossed $75.5 million on a budget of $80–100 million, resulting in an estimated loss of $71 million after ancillary costs, and making it one of the biggest box-office bombs of all time.
