I thought the general consensus was that there was a cover up on his diagnosis, stage 9 doesn’t develop overnight and he had had multiple checkups… the whole “well his doctor said no cognitive disabilities either so gee” angle is absolutely ridiculous but I remember people on this site agreeing that his diagnosis was probably kept from the public until after his term ended.
Not that Trump should be the one up there asking these questions. He’s the last one who should be calling attention to dishonesty.
I can believe ther doctors knew but did not disclose, as it didn’t really have any bearing on his job. But there no such thing as “stage 9”. It was a Gleason score, which speaks not to how long the cancer has been around but to how aggressive the tumor is. Low Gleason score people are the ones where they say they are going to die with cancer. Probably not of it. Can have a low Gleason score prostate cancer for years.
So a high Gleason score is actually more credible as a recent finding, likely to go from undetectable to serious very quickly.
