“There is one person responsible for what happened here and that person is now in custody and will be charged soon and will be held accountable,” he adds

I’m totally expecting a fair trial now.

His dad is a Morman sheriff in Utah…

Besides his skin tone being “blank piece of copy paper” that’s likey the main reason he was taken in alive.

It’s not like he told his “dad” so much as turned himself in.

There’s going to be a lot of pressure for him to plea out, that way the government can say whatever they want. He might even get Epstein’s in jail, they’ve already committed to a narrative, they can’t let him take the stand or worse start giving interviews about why he did it

That was before they knew who he was…

They want a Black transexual with blue hair, and they got a white suburban kid from a prominent Mormon and Republican family…

Maga is scared shitless of the Mormon, if they break away Republicans are fucked without Utah.

And their more loyal to a random member of their own church than to trump. trump is going to quickly pivot to wanting everyone to stop paying attention by Monday.

Doubtful. Mormons aren’t going to support murder and Kirk had that veneer of reasonableness that made him the wolf in sheep’s clothing that he was. Despite quotes being thrown around, Kirk’s fascism was more subtle because otherwise he wouldn’t have attracted the uninitiated the way he did.

Mormons will disown him and MAGA will keep their hold on Utah. It might even increase since everyone loves a martyr.

Have you heard, like, anything about Mormanism?

                  Quick edit:

Like, too many examples for me to possibly list them all, but Netflix made a whole TV show about this one:

                  https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mountain_Meadows_Massacre

The Mountain Meadows Massacre (September 7–11, 1857) was a series of attacks during the Utah War that resulted in the mass murder of at least 120 members of the Baker–Fancher wagon train.[1][a] The massacre occurred in the southern Utah Territory at Mountain Meadows, and was perpetrated by settlers from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) involved with the Utah Territorial Militia (officially called the Nauvoo Legion) who recruited and were aided by some Southern Paiute Native Americans.[2] The wagon train, made up mostly of immigrant families from Arkansas, was bound for California, traveling on the Old Spanish Trail that passed through the Territory.

They have 100 billion in a “wealth fund” for the church, about 40% of which is in the US stock market.

The members of their church are also incredibly submissive and will do whatever their church leaders say, including voting.

Republicans have a very thin majority in both the House and Senate.

Losing the Mormon church, would mean trump loses majority in both. And would prevent a Republican from becoming president.

They’re a very large and important bloc of the Republican party.

              Rock and a hard place…

If he says he’s LGBTQ, the church disowns him and Utah will push for death penalty again.

His best bet is to double down on Mormonism and say he did it for all the reasons Kirk and MAGA go against the Mormon teachings.

Which again, worst case scenario for trump because he can’t afford to lose Utah and the Mormon church controls Utah politics.

We’re gonna have to see how the next week goes, but this could lead to a huge fracture ahead of midterms. Republicans have a 6 seat lead, and 4 seats in Utah are up in 2026.

Danny “Dimes” is what his teammates called him as a Rookie on the Giants.

Because he was “throwing dimes”, or perfect passes. But only when he was throwing perfect passes, which as the #6 overall pick he should have always been doing.

He hated the nickname, and it seems pretty obvious his teammates were fucking with him. But after being traded to a new team, beating out the guy who was supposed to be the face of the team for starting QB and a recent top 10 pick, and then playing an amazing week 1 people are using it again.

So definitely a deep cut, and I’m honestly I’m surprised it took this long for someone to ask. I think a lot of people just blindly upvoted.

But Daniel Jones is known for “throwing dimes” and this guy’s dad “dropped a dime”.

The markings on the bullets described by authorities indicate that the suspect, Tyler Robinson, was steeped in online culture and included references to the Antifa , or the anti-fascist, movement.

A fired shell casing was inscribed with “notices bulges OwO what’s this?” - a reference to a “copypasta” - a piece of text that is repeated over and over again, often to troll people online.

Authorities say one unfired casing had the words “Hey fascist! Catch!” and three down arrows - a common symbol used to represent the anti-fascist movement.

A second casing had the lyrics to a song “Bella Ciao” inscribed on it. The song honours WWII-era partisans of the Italian resistance who fought Nazi Germany.

The third unfired casing was inscribed with the words “If you read this, you are gay lmao” - again an apparent reference to online trolling humour.

From another source about the arrows:

Law enforcement officials revealed that Robinson inscribed the sequence up arrow, right arrow, down arrow, down arrow, down arrow on casings, which may be a reference to the co-op shooter Helldivers 2. In the game, the code triggers a 500KG bomb, one of the most destructive stratagems available to players.

So you know that RF Brain worm Jr is going to have a field day with this true or not.

People judging parents doesn’t sit that well with me. Another example is Brian Laundrie’s parents, who did the exact opposite and attracted everyone’s ire for it, as if it was a simple decision to turn in or cover for your homicidal son. Society vs family, where either choice is a failure towards the other side, is the kind of scenario you get snipped over.

          He likely is.

The Daily Mail is normally a worthless heap of right-wing garbage, but they turned out to be somewhat informative (and with zero journalistic ethics) by posting family photos of the suspect: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-15086467/amp/Tyler-Robinson-Charlie-Kirk-killer-identified-Utah-Trump.html

          • One of those photos is Robinson smiling while wearing a Trump costume for Halloween.

          • The family is also religious, evidenced by the dad had him go to a minister before turning himself in.
