There’s a delightfully unhinged novel called A Short History of Tractors in Ukrainian by Marina Lewycka that I think you would enjoy very much. If you haven’t found it already that is. A best seller in its day and stands the test of time. Does not noticeably contain tractors.
I’m bored. What’s happening?
Just burning a kranksy w/ chillies on top, inside with a weed burner.
Chef R.J. MacReady over here
Been a while since I had a Kransky, its now on the shopping list.
I think I might need to add that to mine too.
I used my rice cooker to make coconut rice for the first time and I’m sitting here wondering why I’ve never done this before.
Is it a full replacement of water with coconut milk or a blend?
Full replacement, but I used light coconut milk. Don’t think it would have worked full with regular. It’s delicious.
I might have to try that sometime with my rice cooker though recently I got the water ratio wrong.
Do you use the same amount of coconut milk as you would water?
Yeah the same amount of liquid, I had enough to fill the amount I was cooking. Light is watered down already, for regular I’d use maybe 1/3 water.
Waiting for a phonecall.
Passing the time by playing a video game.
Then dinner!
Also keeping warm with blanky.
Hopefully all well with the phone call!
All’s good with phone call.
Was waiting for someone very dear to me.
I’m listening to a boring podcast about life in Soviet Era Ukraine.

omg, I have that on audiobook. 😬 Not listened to it yet
Enjoy! I loved the ending - it just fit so well.
I’ll have to find it, I think it’s on my itunes account 😊
I believe it was quite harsh.
I wouldn’t want to be a farm worker.
Mystery and adventure….somewhere
Not at my place either!
Just watched the 1st ep of Midnight Mass, which looks very lush and suitably scary
